My maternal grandmother, Matilda Johnson, was born in Frederick, SD on May 22, 1890. Her parents were Louis Peter Johnson and Anna Johnson. Louis Peter Johnson was a farmer and started a homestead in Lake Preston. Are there any public records of early residents like my grandmother and her family?
